When I listened both of these videos with my headphones I can say HTC One was quite good, but Nokia 808 PureView sounds better - both highs and lows are more richer and more clear with 808.
Nokia 808 PureView wins also at video quality and as You know Nokia 808 has lossless zoom which You can use while recording thanks for its huge image sensor vs HTC One has lack of pixels and it can't make lossless zoom and I think You can adjust its zoom only before recording and that makes quality worse.
The Amsterdam District Court has yesterday granted Nokia’s request for a preliminary injunction against the supply to HTC of microphone components invented by and manufactured exclusively for Nokia. Nokia filed this action after it discovered these components in the HTC One; HTC has no license or authorization from Nokia to use these microphones or the Nokia technologies from which they have been developed.
STMicroelectronics N.V. is registered in Amsterdam, Netherlands and this preliminary injunction of the Amsterdam District Court means that HTC can’t get any new Nokia’s HAAC mics from STMicroelectronics and they are forced to change those mics to the regular nonHAAC mics if HTC want to continue to sell HTC One.
