Organ Tonation - Make It Right @ Radio 6 Soul & Jazz, Hilversum, Netherlands 18/01/2013
NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW
This was recorded in the hall of the Dutch radiostation Radio 6 Soul & Jazz (www.radio6.nl). You'll see Organ Tonation at work: Frank Montis (Delmontis, Laura Vane & The Vipertones), drummer Lean Robbemont (Alain Clark, Delmontis), in October 2011 expanded with the guitar strumming skills of Aron Raams (Gare du Nord).
I had no time to set things up, nor to rehearse anything: the broadcast was live, I entered a few minutes before they would start, so I dropped my coat on the floor, got my Nokia 808 PureView out and started filming.
Later, I discovered that for some reason my Nokia 808 was on 25fps (instead of 30fps), but that won't influence the sound in any way. This was extremely loud, and I'm still amazed about the ease with which Nokia's Rich Recording handles it. I enjoyed recording this, I hope you'll like it as well!
